Amy Dawn Jessop

Amy Jessop (Putnam), 36, of Grand Island, NE died on July 10, 2021 at CHI Health Bergan Mercy in Omaha.



A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. A graveside service will be 11 am on Saturday, July 17th in the Grand Island City Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am, Saturday July 24th at the Northridge Assembly of God. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Apfel Funeral Home is assisting the family.



Amy was born on April 23, 1985 in Holdrege, NE to Ed and Nina (Arehart) Putnam. She grew up in Loveland, CO and Holdrege, NE and received her education from Holdrege High School and the University of Nebraska at Kearney.



She was united in marriage to Nick Jessop on November 8, 2007 in Kearney, NE. After which the couple lived in Grand Island where she was employed at Walmart. She also had lived in Kearney, NE.



She had been a member at the Nazarene Church and the E Free churches while she lived in Holdrege and Kearney.



Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Nick Jessop; son, Dante Jessop; daughters, Anna and Maya Jessop; parents, Ed and Nina Putnam; and brothers, Mark (Kelly) Putnam and Ryan (Jessica) Putnam and families.



She was preceded in death by her uncles, Junior Jessop, Abe Jessop and Les Putnam; maternal grandparents, Marvin and Mary Arehart; uncle, Melvin Falk; paternal grandparents, Helen McQueen and Neil Putnam and aunt, Sandi Lester.
