Ann M. Blomenkamp

Hastings resident, Ann M. Blomenkamp, 96, died Thursday, August 9, 2007, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings; NE Services will be Monday, August 13, 2007, at 10:30 AM at the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, 2007, from 12 noon to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and up till service time Monday at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Ann was born December 4, 1910 to Emil and Grace (Madl) Krepcik, in Amherst, NE. She graduated from Prosser High School and attended the NE College of Commerce in Hastings, NE. She married Ervin Blomenkamp May 10, 1936 he died March 13, 2006. Her first job was at the Hastings Chamber of Commerce then she started Truckers Exchange Terminal. They later started B&B Transfer. She also was a seamstress. Ann was a member of the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the churchs Ladies Aid. Ann is survived by 1 brother Louie Krepcik of Douglas, Wyoming, 1 sister, Louise Katzberg of Hastings, NE. And several nieces and nephews. Ann is preceded in death by, her husband, Ervin, her parents, 1 sister, and 4 brothers. Memorials may be given to the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE.
