Ashton Taylor Burr

(At Our Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home, Kenesaw Location.) Juniata resident, Ashton Taylor Burr, 15, of 12500 W 42nd, Juniata, died, Thursday, December 7, 2006 due to a car accident. Services will be, Monday, December 11, 2006 at 10 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church, near Prosser, with the Pastor Greg Volzke officiating. Burial will be in the Kenesaw Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 9, 2006 from 12 noon to 9 PM and Sunday, December 10, 2006 from 12 noon to 9 PM at the Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home, Kenesaw, NE and one hour prior to services at the church. Ashton was born, January 2, 1991, to Mark and Marcy (Johansen) Burr in North Platte, NE. She was a 10th grade Honor roll student at the Kenesaw High School. She participated in volleyball, basketball, track, drama, choir, and dance squad. She was a lifeguard at the Kenesaw Public Swimming Pool last summer. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, near Prosser, NE. She had lived in the Juniata community since 1999. She is survived by her parents, Mark and Marcy of Juniata, 2 sisters, Whitney, and Kelsey, and 1 brother Justin all at home. Grandparents, Verlun and Shirley Johansen of Heartwell, NE, Dennis and Charlotte Burr of Juniata, NE, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her uncle Kent Johansen. Memorials may be given to the Kenesaw Public School Foundation.
