Audrey B. Hoch, 92, of Grand Island died Thursday September 13, 2018 at Good Samaritan Society in Grand Island.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Grand Island with the Most Reverend William J. Dendinger officiating. Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 10:30 am on Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church. Memorials are suggested to the Grand Island Central Catholic Foundation or the Hastings Catholic Schools Foundation.

Audrey was born on October 4, 1925 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Alvin and Edna (Grate) Burns. She grew up in St. Louis and graduated from Roosevelt High School.
She was united in marriage to Harry Hoch on July 19, 1947 at St. Louis, MO. The couple resided in St. Louis before moving to Omaha, NE in 1963. In 1974, they moved to Grand Island where they owned and operated H & H Distributing. Upon Harry’s death in 1986, Audrey became chairman of the board. She also was a longtime member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Harry Jr. and Janie Hoch of Omaha and Marty and Judy Hoch of Hastings; six grandchildren, Laura Hoch, Harry Hoch III, Melissa and Tyler Laflin, Lindsey and Sam Reznicek, Michael and Megan Hoch, and Jeff Hoch, and ten great-grandchildren, Madeline, Andrew and Mackenzie Logue, Allison and Claire Reznicek, Sophia and Lewis Laflin, Silas, Baron and Greyson Hoch.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Sr. and brother, Robert Burns.
