Barbara Ann Kreider

Barbara A. Kreider, 72, of Grand Island, NE passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at CHI Health St. Francis.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island with Rev. Bev Hieb officiating. Burial will follow in the Westlawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the start of the service. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

She was born on July 31, 1948 at Grand Island, NE to Pearl and Faye (Morrow) Peterson. She grew up in Grand Island and received her education from Grand Island Public Schools.

She married Fredrick Kreider on March 26, 1967 in Grand Island. After which the couple lived in Grand Island where she worked at Beaute World for 53 years.

She is survived by her sons, Benjamin, Andrew and Cory Kreider; daughter, Teddi Castillo; brother, Clifton Peterson; and sisters, Jane Bolter and Victory Peterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Faye Peterson and her husband, Fredrick Kreider.
