Barbara Ellen Love

Barbara Ellen Love, 57, of Grand Island died June 26, 2015 at her home.

Funeral Services will be Monday, June 29, 2015 at 3:00pm at Apfel Funeral Home with Derek Apfel officiating. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00pm at Apfel Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to family.

Barbara was born on July 8, 1957 at Grand Island, NE to Orval and Betty (Duncan) Baker. She grew up in Grand Island and received her education at Grand Island public schools. She was united in marriage to Darvin Love on June 4, 1977 at Polk, NE. After which the couple lived in Polk, NE where she was employed as a CNA. She also lived in Cairo and Grand Island and was employed by Good Samaritan at the time of her death.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She also enjoyed country music concerts and bingo. She also loved watching Husker games.

Survivors include sons; Randy Love of Lincoln, NE, Darvin (DJ) and Nicole Love of Grand Island, daughters; Brenda and Isaac Larsen of Chapman, NE, April Love of Grand Island, NE, Valerie And Kevin Love of Loveland, CO, eight grandchildren, two brothers; George Baker, and John Baker, sisters; Becky Indvik, Diana Baker, Alice Kriewald, Valerie Love, and sister in-law Phyllis Klingforth.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; Orval and Betty Baker, her husband Darvin Love, siblings; Lester, Robert, and Elizabeth, and her Father In-Law Pete Love.
