Barry A. Stange, 79 of Hastings, formerly of Cairo, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Good Samaritan Society in Hastings, NE. Private family memorial graveside services will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. Apfel Funeral Home of Grand Island is caring for the family. Barry A. Stange was born September 9, 1934 in rural Hall County, Nebraska the son of Henry A. and Dorothy M. (Roberts) Stange. He was united in marriage to Alberta Quaife, September 9, 1958 in Grand Island. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife of 55 years, Alberta Stange of Hastings, three children, Marty & Pat Stange of Hastings, Kevin & Cheryl Stange of Cairo, Kathy Herbers of Lincoln, brother, Don Stange of Cairo, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
