Mass of the Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Petersburg, Nebraska with the Reverend Father Stanley Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery in Petersburg, Nebraska. Visitation hours will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Apfel Funeral Home, Grand Island, NE with the rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, October10, 2014 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Petersburg, Memorials are suggested to Conception Seminary College, Conception, MO, St. Johns Catholic Church, Petersburg, NE or Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grand Island.
