Beverly J. Lamphiear

Hastings resident, Beverly Jean Lamphiear, 79, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings.

Services will be Monday, February 2, 2015, at 10:30 am at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings with The Rev. Cindy Karges officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be February 1, 2015 from 1 pm to 5 pm with the family present from 3 pm to 5 pm. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in charge of the arrangements.



Memorials may be given to the family.



Beverly was born November 16, 1935 to Paul Mortan and Mildred Irene (Brach) Jones in Fort Morgan, CO. She graduated from the Juniata High School, Juniata. She married Howard Lamphiear on May 27, 1955 at the United Methodist Church in Juniata, Howard passed away December 9, 1994. Beverly worked at Modo Day and Woolworths, and was a housewife.



She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Hastings.



She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl A. Kelley of Hastings, Brenda J. Svoboda (Bob Stromer) of Blue Hill and Kimberly Lamphiear (Keith McIntyre) of Hastings, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brother, Bob (Marcy) Jones of Sandy, Utah, and a sister-in-law, Fransis Kost of Burlington, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard, sister, Joyce Yeslinek, and brother, Jimmie Jones.
