Beverly Mae Paulick, 81, of Grand Island died Thursday at Golden Living Center at Park Place in Grand Island. Graveside Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Island. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date. Beverly was born on September 15, 1930 in Grand Island, the daughter of Orin C. and Mabel (Pearson) Roos. In 1948, she graduated from Grand Island High School and went on to attend Central Technical Community College. She was united in marriage to Albert Paulick, Jr. on February 21, 1949 at Minden, Nebraska. The couple resided in Grand Island where she worked for City Yellow Cab and Bus Company from 1955-1973, and from 1973 through 1983 she raised thoroughbred horses. In 1984, she became an accounting clerk for Brunswick Station. Mr. Paulick preceded her in death on August 11, 1969. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and a past member of the Saddle Club and the Nebraska Thoroughbred Breeders Association. She enjoyed sports, especially baseball. She was a New York Yankees fan. She also enjoyed her job at Brunswick Station. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Barb Paulick of Grand Island; 2 grandchildren, Nancy and Michael; and 3 great-grandchildren, Zane, Verity, and Alexis. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
