Brad was born in Hastings, NE on March 23, 1970, to Frank and June (Rockholm) Mueller. He was a member of the Hastings Tiger Marching Band and graduated from Hastings Senior High in 1988. Many friends fondly remember his familys businesses, Frankfooters and TCBY. He worked for his parents for a number of years and probably spent most of what he made on Dragons Lair and frozen yogurt! In addition to working the family businesses, Brad worked for Murphys Wagon Wheel during college, Chief Ethanol Fuels, and Modern Woodmen. His final position, from 2008 2016, was working security at Hastings College. No job that he had could compare to the job he had as a dad of five children. They were his joy. He earned a new title, father-in-law, in recent years.
Brad was a former member of the Army National Guards in Hastings. He was a member and former vice president of the Eagles, Aerie 592. Celebrate Recovery was a place where he felt encouragement, inspiration, and comfort. Growing up he enjoyed family fishing and hunting trips. He enjoyed playing lively games of Pitch with his family; often times setting someone just to get a reaction! He was so proud every time he watched his Kansas City nephews play baseball. Brad was a person who lit up a room when he entered, never knew a stranger, and always made you feel better for having known him. His smile and laugh were contagious.
He leaves behind his five children, Nathaniel (Rachel) Mueller; Zachary (Ashley) Mueller; Faith Mueller; Jonathan Mueller; and Leiah Mueller; his parents, Frank and June Mueller; brother Frank D. Doug Mueller; sister Marilee (Benjamin) Merithew; and four nephews, Christopher Mueller, Alexander Merithew, Joshua Merithew, and Jacob Merithew. And many friends too numerous to name.
