Holstein resident, Bradley Alan Shaw 46, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at his home.
Services will be Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Holstein Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Lee Wigert officiating. Burial will be in the Holstein Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 27th, 2018 from 3 pm to 7 pm with family present from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw. The family request casual attire for Brads funeral. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw is in care of the family.
A memorial will be established.
Brad was born December 20, 1971 to Charles L. and Linda (Hansen) Shaw in Hastings. He graduated from Adams Central High School in 1990 then attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Brad was a farmer.
He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Holstein.
Brad enjoyed spending time with family, nieces, nephews and his dogs. His hobby was firearms, hunting and shooting targets.
Brad is survived by his parents, Charles and Linda (Hansen) Shaw, sister, Colleen (Randy) Kothe, brother, Timothy Shaw all of Holstein, niece, Jenna (Brad) Reiter of Formoso, KS, nephews, Eric (Andrea) Kothe and Nicolas Kothe all of Holstein, great nieces and nephews, Colten Kothe, Hunter Kothe, Makenzie Kothe, Val Jean Reiter and Virginia Reiter, aunts and uncles, Jerry Hansen, Lester (Cheryl) Shaw and Russ (Deb) Shaw and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents and grandparents, Leland and Margaret Shaw and Kenneth and Marcella Hansen.
