Nelson resident, Candice L. (Brown) Reeve, 43, died June 6, 2009 at the Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE. Services will be Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 2 PM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with Pastors Don & Sue Sheltrown officiating. Graveside service will be Friday, June 12, 2009 at 2 PM at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from 12 noon to 9 PM with the family present from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Candice was born January 24, 1966 to Willard Springer and Phyllis Brown in Hastings, NE. She graduated from the Hastings Senior High, Hastings, NE in 1984. She married Tim Reeve on April 2, 1988. She was employed by the White-Wilson Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She later opened the Eye Candy Optical in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was a member of the Stillwater Way Station Church in Nelson, NE. She is survived by her husband Tim and son Jered both of Nelson, NE. 1 brother, Skip Brown and wife Shelly of Aurora, MO and 2 sisters, Debi Kaiser of Hastings, NE and Cherie Thaut-Sawyer, of Beaumont, Texas, and many neices and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Larry and grandmother, Alma Doyle. Memorials may be given to the family.
