Carol Lee Kampschneider

Carol Lee Kampschneider, 57 of Fremont, Nebraska died Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at CHI Health Lakeside in Omaha, Nebraska.



Memorial Services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. The Reverend Jim Garfield will be officiating. Inurnment will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.



She was born on February 20, 1959 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Leo and Shirley (Anderson) Adams. She grew up in Grand Island and received her education at Grand Island Senior High School. She also lived in West Point, NE and then in Fremont, NE. She was employed by Farm Service Agency as a Program Technician in Fremont, retiring in May of 2015.



Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids. In her free time, she loved to shop and always found the best birthday and Christmas gifts. She was a Lifetime Channel movie enthusiast. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.



Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Sheena Kampschneider of West Point, NE; daughter and son-in-law, Jenna and Mark Johnson of Wichita, KS; 2 grandchildren, Karter (4) and Roewen (2) Kampschneider; sisters and brother-in-law, Chris and Terry Johnston of Golden, CO, and Sue Meginnis of Omaha, NE; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.



Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Shirley Adams.
