Chad Johnson

Chad Johnson, 40, of Grand Island, died November 8, 2014 unexpectedly at home.



Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Third City Christian Church in Grand Island with Pastor Scott Jones officiating. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.



Visitation will be from 4 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later time.



He was born on June 10, 1974 at Grand Island, Ne to Darrell and Linda (Johnston) Johnson. He grew up in Grand Island and received his education at Northwest High School. He was united in marriage to Jade Lascuna Fajardo on October 19, 2012. After which the couple lived in Grand Island where he was part owner of DJs Heating Air Conditioning and Electrical. He was a member of Third City Christian Church and an active part of Celebrate Recovery. He enjoyed racing mini sprint cars, late model and motocross, target shooting and had a great interest in computers and technology. He enjoyed camping and capturing life with his GoPro and Drone.



Survivors include his spouse, Jade Johnson; son, Asher Johnson; and his daughter, Rylee Johnson; parents, Darrell and Linda (Johnston) Johnson; sister and brother in law, Tammy (Johnson) and Scott Dugan; many nieces and nephews; 3 aunts and 4 uncles; and his paternal grandmother, Eva Johnson.



He was preceded in death by his uncle, Johnny Johnston; paternal grandfather, Harold Johnson; and maternal grandparents, Floyd Johnston and Shirley Chipps.
