Cheryl Rugebregt

Cheryl Ann Rugebregt, 69, of Grand Island died January 15, 2018, at Lincoln, NE. Celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. January 20, 2018, at Restoration Worship Center in Grand Island with the Reverend Bill Rowland. Memorials are suggested to the Rugebregt family and Nebraska Heart Institute.



Cheryl was born on March 21, 1948, in Grand Island, NE to Harry and Bernice (Lemburg) Bernth. She grew up and received her education in Grand Island. She then spent two years in Fairfield, CA. Cheryl was united in marriage to Eduard Rugebregt on December 21, 1968, at Grand Island, where the couple made their home. She was employed by the Nebraska Veterans Hospital.



She was a member of First Baptist Church, Toastmasters, Grand Island Senior High Class of 1960s and was an avid antique enthusiast. Her greatest joy came from socializing and entertaining her friends from her home.



Survivors include her husband, Eduard G. Rugebregt; daughter, Genevieve Rugebregt; 2 grandchildren, Isaiah and Gwenivar Franklin; brothers and sisters in-law, James and Jean Ann Bernth of Grand Island, Rodney and Lila Bernth of Lincoln, NE, Dale and Mary Ann Bernth of Grand Island, Daniel and Jackie (Harpell) Bernth of Fort Collins, CO; numerous nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents.
