Christopher "Kc" S. Reynolds

Hastings resident, Christopher (KC) S. Reynolds, 44, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at his home.

Memorial service will be Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at 2 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings, NE with Reverend Larry Harvey officiating. KCs wishes were to be cremated; book signing will be at 12 noon before the service on Saturday. Burial will be at a later date. KCs family request everyone wear the color blue for his service. Christopher was born March 3, 1973 to Melvin and Cheryl (Smith) Reynolds in Lawrence, Kansas. He grew up in Lawrence and Kansas City, Kansas and attended school in Kansas City, Kansas. He married Laura Duchene September 2, 2005 in Lincoln, NE. He was employed as a cook. He also lived in Hastings, NE.

He was preceded in death by, his father Melvin, daughter, Krisjean Reynolds, grandmother, Kyra Ware, uncle, William Wright, and aunt, TaLonna Reed.

He was survived by his wife, Laura Reynolds of Lincoln, children, Levinesha Duchene, Krysean Reynolds, Nicolas Reynolds all of Lincoln, Tristan Schwartz, TaLonna Reynolds, Kyra Reynolds and Kayden Johnson all of Hastings, Christopher Lewis of Missouri, his mother and step father Cheryl and Marcus Wilson of Columbia, TN, mother and father in law, Karen and Levi Cotton of Lincoln, NE, godparents, Alicia and Rivero Gaitan, of Kansas, two Aunts, Madonna Reed of Kansas and Rosalind Young of TN, special friend Amanda Cookson of Hastings, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Many, many adopted family members, if he knew you and loved you, you were family to him.
