Cindi A. Brennfoerder

Hastings resident, Cynthia A. (Pelowski) Brennfoerder, 52, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at her home. Services will be Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, ELCA, Hastings, NE, with Pastor Steven Peeler officiating. There will not be a burial at this time. Book signing will be Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 9 am to 9 pm at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE and one hour prior to the service at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Memorials may be given to the family. Cindi was born February 23, 1959 to Dennis and Marge (Glover) Pelowski in Hastings, NE. She graduated from Hastings High School and Joseph's College of Beauty. She married Darrell Brennfoerder on September 1, 1978 in Hastings, NE. She opened her beauty shop named Headquarters in 1986 in Hastings, NE, retiring in 2009 due to her health. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and spending time with b oth her friends and family. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, ELCA, Hastings, NE, the Eagles Auxiliary and the Xi Alpha Pi Sorority where she was mistress of ceremonies at the Christmas Party, for the developmentally disabled. She is survived by her husband Darrell of Hastings, NE, two beautiful children, Heather Hays and husband Cody of Omaha, and Tyler Brennfoerder of Hastings, NE, her mother, Marge Pelowski of Hastings, NE, two brothers, James Pelowski and wife Amy and Tom Pelowski all of Lincoln, NE, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Dennis, her sister, Patricia and a granddaughter Cady Hays.
