Craig Crawford

Craig E. Crawford, 69, of Grand Island, NE, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at CHI St. Francis. A private graveside service will be planned for a future date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Leukemia, Lymphoma Society in Craig’s name or consider a blood donation in Craig’s honor.

Craig was born October 16, 1954, to Elbert and Grace (Hafer) Crawford. He was united in marriage to Denise Redler on January 6, 1986, and the two made their home in Grand Island.

Craig was a kind man and a good friend that would do anything for anybody. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife, Denise; sisters: Karen Rolling of Central City and Susan (David) Rumfeldt of MO; brother, Monte Crawford of Grand Island; sisters-in-law: Paula Redler-Coons of AZ, Barbara Goscinski of CO, Joyce (Henry) Leu of Grand Island, Marjorie Crawford and Mary Crawford of Phillips; brother-in-law, Robert of Albion; special friends: Robin and Raenae Rollins of Hastings, and many nieces and nephews.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Leo and Eleen Redler; brothers: Larey, Jack, Richard, Kieth, and infant brother James; sister, Elberta; sister-in-law, Marlene Crawford; brothers-in-law: Dominic Goscinski and Don Coons; niece, LeAnn Crawford and nephew, Kelly Ottman.
