Hastings resident, Daniel E. Schreiner, 57, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital; Hastings, NE. Memorial service will be Monday, July 19, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Daniel was born February 21, 1953 to Gene and Jo (Davis) Schreiner in Hastings, NE. After high school he served in the Navy from April 23, 1970 to April 26, 1974. He was a car salesman and past member of the Eagles Aerie 592. He is survived by his parents Gene Schreiner of Hastings, NE, and Jo Buttell of Broomfield, CO, 1 daughter, Dina Rainer of Overland Park, KS, and 1 son, Derrick Schreiner of Lincoln, NE, 5 sisters, Lindy Schreiner and Becky Schreiner both of Westminster, CO, Cindy Pawloski of Omaha, NE, Mitzie Metz of Hastings, NE and Trudy Roever of Colorado Springs, CO and 2 grandchildren, Macy and Janie Rainer, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
