David L. Bell

Harvard resident, David L. Bell, 71, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Harvard Rest Haven.

Graveside memorial service for both David and Glenda will be Monday, June 15, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Harvard Cemetery with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. There will be no visitation; Davids wishes were to be cremated. Apfel Funeral Home, Harvard is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to www.apfelfuneralhome.com.

David was born on March 7, 1944 to Ed and Louise (McIntyre) Bell in Lincoln. He married Glenda Gundersen and worked at Amour as a meat slicer for many years.

David loved his grandchildren, Nebraska football and cars.

He is survived by three daughters, Dee (Tommy) Toms, Danette (Jeff) Keifer both of Hastings, Jennifer Long of Beatrice, two step sons, Robbie (Alma) Svoboda of Hastings and Steve (Melissa) Svoboda of Glenvil, 14 grandchildren and two sisters, Linda Schuldeis and Shirlee Kuebler both of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Glenda, and one daughter, Tiffanie Hess
