Hastings resident, David Michael Bosle, 60, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Services will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:30 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE with Pastor Markus MacKay officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2013 from 12 noon to 9 pm with family greeting friends from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings, NE and one hour prior to service time at the church. The family requests that instead of giving flowers please make memorial contributions to the family or to the Childrens Museum of Central Nebraska. David was born February 16, 1953 to Lyman and Norma (Koepp) Bosle in Hastings, NE. He had lived his entire life in the Hastings area. He married Deb Boesen on December 2, 1987 and they just had celebrated 25 amazing years of marriage. Daves passion was helping people. As a farmer, he was active in the National Farmers Organization, and also as an insurance and annuities agent with National Agents Alliance. He was the co-founder of the Childrens Museum of Central Nebraska, where he volunteered countless hours. He was a past member of the Jaycees and Toastmasters, both in Hastings. He was also a part of the LEAD 5 program through the University of Nebraska. His hobbies included, Husker Football and tailgating, traveling the United States on his Harley or driving his Big Rig. He is survived by his wife Deb of Hastings, his mother Norma Jean of Hastings, brothers and families, Steve and Judy Bosle of Hastings and their son Zac, Mark and Nancy Bosle of Hastings and their son Sam, Brad and Bobbi Bosle of Glenvil, one sister, Lisa Hoggins and husband Vic, parents-in-law, DeWayne and Jackie Boesen of Kenesaw, brother and sister-in-law Neal and Tami Nabower of Grand Island and and their children Katie and Nic Nabower, Anthony and Angie Nabower, brother and sister in-law, Brad and Becky Boesen of Lincoln, and sons, Evan and Quinn and so many good friends and cousins and his beloved fur child, Tucker. He was preceded in death by his father Lyman Bosle, and a brother-in-law Scott Boesen.
