Daylene K. Chang, 44, of Grand Island died Sunday, April 4, 2021, at her home in Grand Island.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 10, 2021, at the Apfel Funeral Home – Grand Island. Pastor Tim Kilstrom will officiate. Following Daylene’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Daylene Keukahi Chang was born October 20, 1976, at Honolulu, Hawaii to Clifford Chang and Barbara Moore.
When she was young, Daylene moved to Nebraska with her family. She received her education and graduated from Polk-Hordville High School. Following her education, she worked as a bookkeeper in the accounting business.
Daylene loved family gatherings and enjoyed the company of her nieces and nephews. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Nora of Grand Island; her father, Clifford Chang of Pearl City, HI; mother, Barbara Moore of Grand Island; her children, Darrian Chang and Dayzhia Nora both of Grand Island; sister and brother-in-law, Dayna and Larry Botts of St. Paul, NE; granddaughter, Avery Chang; grandsons, Maleko Chang and Cassius Chang; nieces and nephews, Karlei (Ryan) Randolph of Grand Island, Scarlett Prorok (Adam Sims) of Kearney, Kaila Botts of St. Paul, and Kian “Doctor” Botts of St. Paul; aunts and uncles, cousins, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; cousin, Debra Campa; aunts and uncles; and father-in-law.
