Former Hastings resident Dennis Denny L. Roth, 53 of Lincoln, NE died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 near Beatrice, NE. Memorial service will Monday, March 10, 2008 at 10 AM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be at a later date. No viewing due to cremation. Condolences may be sent to www.brandwilson.com. Denny was born January 11, 1955 to John Jack L. and Doris (Van Boening)Roth in Hastings, NE. He attended rural school, district 33, and St. Cecilias High School. He worked at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, and later was a dispatcher for the Adams County Sheriffs Department. He then moved to Lincoln, NE and was a dispatcher with the NE State Patrol and the City of Lincoln 911. He is survived by his mother Doris Roth of Hastings, NE, 1 sister, Dorine Roth of Omaha, NE, 2 brother, Dwight Roth and wife Tina (Witt), of Hastings, NE, and Dewayne Roth and wife Linda (Kennedy) of Lincoln, NE. Nephews, Mike Roth and wife Tammy of Tekamah, NE and Shad Roth of Lincoln, NE, and 1 niece of Piper Roth of Hastings, NE, 2 great nephews, Camerron and Zachary and 1 great niece, Sami Jo all of Tekamah, NE. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
