Detmer T. Burchard

Kenesaw resident, Detmer T. Burchard, 96 of the Kenesaw Haven Home, died, Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Services will be Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Juniata, NE, with the Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2006 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family from, www.brandwilson.com. Mr. Burchard was born February 10, 1910 to Charles and Grace Burchard in Colorado. He married Elmorene C. Stogner in 1934 she died in 1969, he remarried Minnie Stimbert in 1971 she died in 2001. He worked at NPPD Electric Company in Hastings, NE for many years. He is survived by, 2 daughters, Elizabeth Burchard of San Francisco, CA, and Janet Fitzsimmons of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1 son Dennis of San Diego, CA, and 7 Grandchildren, Stuart, Christopher and Ryan Burchard, and Cassandra, Gavin, Christopher, and Michael Fitzsimmons. He is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Vera Taylor, Neva Godwin and Caroline Murray, 4 brothers, Wayne, Cecil, Waldo and Max. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church, Juniata NE or donor's choice.
