Dj Tilden

Hastings resident, Delor R. DJ Tilden, Jr. 47, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at his home.

Services will be Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11 am at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Loren Cooper officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. There will be no visitation DJs wishes were to be cremated. Apfel Funeral Home is in care of the family. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com.

DJ was born December 29, 1969 to Delor and Diane (Loyd) Tilden in Lincoln, NE. He served in the United States Army from April 14, 1987 to August 31, 1988 where his job was a bio- chemical warfare specialist. He married Terri Day and to this union was born a son, Jake. Terri later passed away. The couple lived in Pineville, MO. DJ attended school in Idaho to be an engineer, moving to Hastings in 2000. DJ worked a lot of odd jobs.

DJ loved music, woodworking and remodeling houses.

He is survived by his son, Jake Tilden Sloan, of Blue Hill, his mother, Diane Street of Campbell,

He was preceded by death by, wife Terri, grandparents; father Delor R. Tilden, Sr., brother Rusty, niece Jessica Dyess, nephew Kaleb Dyess and two Aunts and one cat Shadow.
