Donald Edward Plum

Kenesaw resident, Donald Edward Plum 70, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Haven Home in Kenesaw, NE. Services will be Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10:30 am at the First Baptist Church, Hastings, NE with Rev. Tom Murray officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Memorials may be given to the family. Donald was born October 20, 1941 to Merle and Vera (Riess) Plum in Adams County. He graduated from the Hastings High School. He was a lifetime farmer and he started riding a farm tractor at nine years old. He married Pat Moore on October 27, 1973. He had lived in the Adams County, NE area all his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hastings, NE. He also was a former member of the Hastings Masonic bodies, and was on the board at Crossroads. He was a member of the FFA and the Rural Ranchers and was active in 4-H. He is survived by his wife Pat of Hastings, NE, one daughter Stephanie Stueck of Juniata, NE, two loving granddaughters, Chauntel and Isabella, one brother Howard and wife Judith of Wyoming and one sister, Marge Pfeil and husband Dennis of Doniphan, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents.
