Donald G. Dyer

Hastings resident, Donald Gary Dyer, 62, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009, at his home. There will be a private burial service at Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, NE. Donald was born September 13, 1946 to Eugene H. and Margaret L. (Stoody) Dyer in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from Santa Monica High School in 1965 and attended Long Beach State College for 3 years. He worked as a certified auto mechanic until he retired and moved to Nebraska, the original home of his father in 2002. In retirement Don was an avid reader and loved working with computers and cars. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Dyer, and his brother Bill Dyer and wife Lori all of Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his father Eugene H. Dyer. Memorials may be given to the family.
