Donna R. Hughes

Donna Rae Hughes, 80, of Glenvil, NE died on January 26, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Apfel Funeral Home in Hastings. There will be no viewing or visitation. Apfel Funeral Home is in care of the family.

Donna was born on October 24, 1943, in Hardington, NE to Walter and Hettie (Clapp) Stueckrath. She was raised in the Norfolk, NE area and also lived in Grand Island, NE. She worked at Lakeview Nursing as a CNA.

She enjoyed walking, dancing, cleaning, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy (Hughes) Saathoff, seven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and brother Robert Stueckrath.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Bonnie, Joanne, Arlene, Norma, and DeVern, brother Arlen, daughter Misty Hughes, and her late husband, Donald Hughes.
