Donna I Friedricksen

Donna I. Friedricksen, 64, of Grand Island died Friday, August 11, 2017, at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island.



Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Derek Apfel, CFC will officiate. Burial will be in the Cameron Cemetery near Wood River.



Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday at Apfel Funeral Home.



Memorials are suggested to the family.



Donna I. Friedricksen was born March 10, 1953, at Palmer, Nebraska to Virgil and Betty (McClurkin) Friedricksen.



Her favorite hobby was collecting owls, and she always enjoyed spending time with her family.



Those left to cherish her memory include her two brothers & sisters-in-law: Kenneth & Dolores Friedrichsen and David & Patty Friedricksen both of Grand Island, four sisters, Mary & Robert Pearson of St. Paul, NE, Sheila Kearns of Grand Island, NE, Shirley Walford of Grover, CO, Vera Morgan of Hastings, NE, numerous nieces & nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lloyd & Tom Friedrichsen, three sisters, Peggy Wieck, Linda Long and Patty Poss.
