Doris A. Carmichael

Former Hastings resident Doris A. Carmichael, 86, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. Services will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Doris was born November 4, 1925 to Albert and Clara E. (Hammer) Fjoser in Ashby, MN. She married Derral A. Carmichael in 1946 in Hastings, NE, they were married for 52 years. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Upton of San Jacinto, CA, Sandra Martinez of North Las Vegas, NV, Donna Beidelschies of Lakeland, FL, and one son, Gary Carmichael of Bend, OR, seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, one sister, Alice Gimm and one brother, Lyle Fjoser both of MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Derral, and three brothers, Clinton, Wallace and Stanley Fjoser.
