Hastings resident, Eleanor Ingrid Ham, 77 passed away Thursday, January 03, 2013 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Village, Hastings~Village. Services will be Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10 am at the Zion Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE with Pastor Paul Warneke officiating. Burial will be at 3 pm at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth; NE. Visitation will be Sunday, January 6, 2012 from 12 noon to 9 pm at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE and one hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Memorials may be given to the family. Eleanor was born November 4, 1935 to Arthur and Myrtha (Heil) Haden in Plattsmouth, NE. She graduated from the Plattsmouth High School and worked for Lincoln Telephone. She married Harold Ham in April 1954, in Plattsmouth, NE. To this union three children were born, Harold Jr., Ron, and Dawn. They moved to Hastings, NE in 1967 where Eleanor was the secretary at Zion Lutheran Church and belonged to Luther Anns (LWML) and the VFW Auxiliary. Her hobbies were ceramics and painting pictures, playing bingo and watching her soap operas and game shows. She is survived by her husband Ray, two sons, Harold and wife Janelle of Hastings, NE, Ron of North Platte, NE, one son-in-law Don Mattison of Holstein, NE, and one sister Ardyth Bowen of Lincoln, NE and one brother Don Haden of Arizona, 5 Grandchildren, Matt Mattison, Joshua Mattison, Brandon Mattison, Justin Ham, and Hilary Ham, all of Hastings, NE and 9 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Dawn Mattison, and 2 sisters, Nancy Peabody and Marlene Brown.
