Ella E. Clinch

Ella E. Clinch, 96 was born on January 9, 1916 and passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Good Samaritan Society, Grand Island. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2013 at Apfel Funeral Home, Grand Island with the Rev. Rod Armon officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Island. Visitation hours will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Apfel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Doniphan, NE, Asera Care Hospice, Grand Island and Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Grand Island. Apfel Funeral Home is caring for the family. Ella E. Clinch was born to Karl & Julia (Oberschulte) Kruse at Worms, Nebraska. She was active in her church making a lot of tops for quilts and enjoyed her Bible Study. She was a wonderful mother, Grandma, Great Grandma and Great Great Grandma. She enjoyed her family a lot, going fishing, bingo and playing cards. She enjoyed all her friends too. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Survivors include three daughters & sons in law: Lois (Dan) Beckmann of North Platte, Nebraska, Darlene (Jerry) Rosswick of Merritt Island, Florida, Phyllis Dewey of Commerce City, Colorado, nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, Rick Carson & Sharon Carson and husbands, Harry Husman & Bill Clinch.
