Erma Lammers

Erma L. Lammers, 90, of Ravenna, died Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Seneca Sunrise in Ravenna.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the United Methodist Church in Ravenna. Pastor Chuck Squier will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at the church. 

Erma Louise Lammers was born, September 17, 1934, at Poole, Nebraska to Ray and Louise (Schmitz) Luce. She graduated from Pleasanton High School in May of 1952.

She married Donald Lammers on June 27, 1952, in Pleasanton. Erma and Don, along with their children, Nick, Mark, Tim and Barbara owned and operated a dairy farm near Ravenna.

In 1996 the couple moved to Kearney. Erma worked at Target and cooked at various public schools and the Kearney Senior Center.

Erma and Don enjoyed square dancing, ballroom and country western dancing. Her hobbies included crafts, crocheting, crossword puzzles and especially being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children; Nick (Pat) Lammers of Wood River, Mark (Paula) Lammers of Onalaska, TX and Barbara Harrison of Grand Island, daughter-in-law, Kathy Lammers of Ravenna, grandchildren; Deena (Drew) Schaeffer, Kylee (Blake) Greisen, Chelsie (Tyler) Doane, Adam (Audrey) Lammers, Stacy (Jesse) Alejandro Nathan (Amber) Lammers, Justin (Desirre) Lammers and Krysta (Kyle) Huse: great-grandchildren; Bria, Callee & Delaney Schaeffer, Kinlee Bruce, Briggs, Harper, Hensley & Harlow Doane, Amber, Katelyn & Cora Lammers, Gracie, Dean, Wyatt Lammers, Payton Hept, Haley Alejandro, Harper & Hendrik Hampton, Oliver & Theodore Lammers and Kason, Kolby & Kora Huse: great-great-grandchildren; Xander & Mila and sister-in-law, Loretta Luce.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, Tim Lammers, son-in-law, Dan Harrison, brothers; Victor, Russell and Wayne Luce and sister, Edith Bukovsky and an infant sister.
