Evelyn R. Anderson

Former Hastings resident, Evelyn R. Anderson 85, died Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the Kenesaw Haven Home; Kenesaw, NE. Graveside service will be Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE, with the Rev. Earl Higgens officiating. Book signing will be Tuesday, February 21, 2006 from 8 AM to 12 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE and at the graveside service. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mrs. Anderson was born May 26, 1920 to John L and Clara (Snoberger) Goldenstein at Inland, NE. She graduated from Inland High School, Inland, NE. She married Walter A. Rhost, June 3, 1943 he passed away July 16, 1963. She then married Martin "Whitey" Anderson in 1983 he passed away in 1989. She was a homemaker and did child care. She had lived in Hastings, NE most of her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and past member of the Eagles Club, both in Hastings, NE. She is survived by, 2 daughters, Carol Zeadow of Overland Park, Kansas, De Nette Lindholm of Denver, CO, and, 2 Granddaughters, Jacqueline Harman Kelker, and Misty Harman-Sadd both of Overland Park, Kansas. 3 Great-grandchildren, Zachary A. Harman, Audrianna E. Sadd, Giovanna E. Kelker, and 1 sister-in-law Janet Goldenstein of Omaha, NE. She is preceded in death by husbands, Walter and Martin, 1 sister Clarice E. Mark and 1 brother, John E. Goldenstein. Memorials may be given to the family.
