Evelyn R. Gundelfinger

Hastings resident, Evelyn R. Gundelfinger, 87, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village. Services will be Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 10 am at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 3 pm 6 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, the casket will be closed on Thursday for the service. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in charge of the arrangements. Evelyn was born June 12, 1926 to Charles C. and May (Miller) Pedersen in Juniata, NE. She graduated from the Juniata High School in 1943. She married Maurice Goedert he passed away in 1965. She married Martin Gundelfinger he passed away in 1992. Evelyn had worked as a doctor office receptionist and she was a clerk at Schwesers both is Hastings. She had lived in the Juniata and Hastings area all her life. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings. She is survived by two step-grandchildren and three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Maurice and Martin, step-son, Martin M. Gundelfinger and one brother and one sister.
