Florence F. Kimle

Kenesaw resident, Florence Freda (Schlachter) Kimle, 96, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at Kenesaw Haven Home, Kenesaw, NE. Services will be Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Kenesaw, Ne with Rev. Paul Duffy officiating. Burial will be in the Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, NE. Visitation will be Sunday, Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 1 PM to 8 PM and Monday, October 31, 2011 from 9 AM to 7 PM at the Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home, Kenesaw, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Florence was born March 29, 1915 to Robert and Anna (Buddecke) Schlachter south of Hastings, NE. She was baptized at the Glenvil Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil, NE. She attended District 43 School. She was confirmed at First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, in Hastings. She also attended Hastings High School. On December 18, 1932 she married Emil Kimle at the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, in Hastings, NE. Emil passed away May 13, 1985. They farmed south of Kenesaw, moving into Kenesaw in 1969. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Kenesaw, NE, Ladies Aid, LWML, Fellowship League and Ladies Bible Study Group, the Kenesaw Senior Center and was a 70 year member of the Shiloh Homecraft Club. She is survived by one son, Duane Kimle and wife LaDonna, and one daughter Jean Powell and husband Jack all of Kenesaw, NE, one sister-in-law, LaVaun Schlachter of Hastings, NE, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Emil and two brothers, Carl and Willard Schlachter. Memorials may be given to the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Kenesaw, NE, Heartland Lutheran High School or the donors choice.
