Frances K. Hunter

Frances K. Hunter of Hastings, died on December 4, 2023, at Mary Lanning Hospital. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Apfel Funeral Home in Hastings with Pastor Larry Harvey officiating. Vistation will begin at 10 AM until time of service. Burial of her cremains will be at Kenesaw Cemetery in Kenesaw, NE at a later date.

Frances was born July 11, 1942, to Stephen and Minnie (Martensen) Gizinski in Ord, NE. She graduated from Loup City High School in 1961. She was united in marriage to Dave Hunter Jr. on December 1, 1997, in Dallas, TX. They moved to Kenesaw in 1999. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hastings.

She is survived by her brothers, Kenneth of Kenesaw, NE, Robert and Donald of Clarkson, WA, and Larry of Grand Island, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Dorothy Puetz.
