Roseland resident, Francis A. Trausch, 77, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion, GSV; Hastings, NE. Rosary will be Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 7:30 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland; NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be, Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland, NE with Father Thomas Au, Father Dan Seiker, Father Mark Seiker and Father Leo Seiker, celebrants. Burial will be in the Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, NE. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 5 PM to 9 PM and Wednesday, September 26, 2007 9 AM to 3 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mr. Trausch was born, July 2, 1930 to John and Susan (Berres) Trausch in Roseland, NE. He graduated from Roseland High School in 1949 and farmed and ran a cattle operation at Roseland all his adult life. He married Lorene Miksch on November the 7, 1959. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland, NE. He is survived by his wife Lorene, of Roseland, NE, 3 sons, Eugene Trausch and wife Kelly of Minden, NE, Dennis Trausch and wife Janelle of Roseland, NE, Roger Trausch and wife Becky of Omaha, NE. 1 daughter, Marlene Long and husband James of Springdale, AK, 14 grandchildren, Chris Trausch, Danny Trausch, Ben Trausch, Jacob Trausch, Ashley Trausch, Elizabeth Trausch, all of Roseland, Ne, Molly Trausch, and Pete Trausch both of Minden, NE, Jordanna Trausch, Courtney Trausch and Kaleb Trausch all of Omaha, NE, Brittany Long, Stephanie Long, and Zachary Long, all of Springdale, AK. 3 brothers, Maurice Trausch, and Ralph Trausch of Roseland, NE, Gerald Trausch of Spring Hill, Kansas. 1 sister, Theresa Seiker of Lincoln, NE. He was preceded in death by, his parents, 6 brothers, Father Anthony Trausch, Albert, Wilford, Raymond, Father Robert Trausch and Louis, and 2 sisters, Irene Matyka and Margaret Kresha.
