Gail Henk Graham

Hastings resident, Gail (Henk) Graham, 42, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings, NE., Services will be Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 10:30 am at the First Christian Church, Hastings NE with the Rev. Dale Phillips officiating. Burial will be at 2 pm on Tuesday at the Central City Cemetery in Central City, NE. Visitation will be Monday, April 2, 2012 from noon to 9 pm with the family present from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Memorials may be given to the Nebraska Childrens Home Society. Gail was born May 21, 1969 to Duane and Jan (Hoffman) Henk in Central City, NE. She graduated from Central City High School in 1987, then attended the Creighton- Mary Lanning Nurses School, graduating in 1991. She married Rodney Graham on November 14, 1992 in Central City. She was a registered nurse for over 21 years at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, in Hastings, NE and has worked in oncology, short stay, and the infusion clinic. Gail passed away unexpectedly. Her organs were donated. She was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. She is survived by her husband Rodney, of Hastings, her seven year old son Joseph Robert, her father Duane Henk of Central City, NE, two sisters Jacy Henk and husband Allen Thompson of Aurora, NE, and Lisa Henk and special friend Keith Morse of Kearney, NE. She loved her dog Daisy. She was preceded in death by her mother Janice, and an uncle, Ron.
