Gary Boring

Gary Boring, 62 of Grand Island, died Friday, September 7, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Memorial Services will be 4:00 P.M. Wednesday at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. The Reverend Matthew Fowler will be officiating. Memorials are suggested to be given in care of the family and will be designated at a later date. Gary was born on March 19, 1950 in Butler, Pennsylvania to William and Leona (Garver) Boring. His family moved him to Grand Island in November of 2011. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and the outdoors. He loved life and loved unconditionally. He is carried on by his fianc(c)e, Maureen, and his son, John. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, John and Kim Boring; granddaughter, Baylee Hudson; nephew, Charles Chuck and his wife, Lynn Boring; and several brothers, sisters, relatives, and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
