Gary L. Kent

Gary Lee Kent, 73, of Hastings died on August 1, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 10:30 am at Juniata United Methodist Church with Pastor Kathy Uldrich officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am until the service. Burial will follow at Juniata Cemetery. Apfel Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Gary was born on October 16, 1950, to LeRoy and Mona (Harves) Kent in Hastings, NE. He graduated from Hastings High School and spent a lifetime farming near Juniata, NE.

He is survived by his sister Gail (Roger) Buss, of Hastings, nieces Cathy Bell of Hastings, Jessica Flowers of Omaha, and Kim Buss of Grand Island, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
