Harvard resident, Glenda L. Bell, 62, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village.
Memorial service will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10 am at the Harvard United Methodist Church, Harvard with Pastor Chad Cassel and Pastor Travis King officiating. There will be no visitation; Glendas wishes were to be cremated. Burial will be at a later date. Apfel Funeral Home, Harvard is in charge of the arrangements. Glenda was born December 21, 1952 to Kermit and Anna (Rothfuss) Gundersen in Hastings. She graduated from Adams Central High School, Hastings. She married David Bell. She was the Harvard City Clerk for 35 plus years.
Glenda loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband David of Harvard, two sons, Robbie (Alma) Svoboda of Hastings and Steve (Melissa) Svoboda of Glenvil, three step daughters, 5 grandchildren, Zach, McKenzie, Rachel, Elizabeth and Breanna, two brothers, Doyle Gundersen and Waldean Gundersen both of Hastings and three sisters, Donna Busboom and Virginia Busboom both of Hastings and Margaret Piel of Ft. Collins, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dean and a step daughter.
