Glenrose Luebbe

Glenrose Luebbe, 90, died Friday, November 10, 2023, at The Heritage at Sagewood in Grand Island, NE. Funeral service will be at 11 A.M. on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Apfel Funeral Home with Reverend Adam Snoberger officiating. Burial will follow in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. on Monday prior to the service. 

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.

Glenrose was born on August 11, 1933, in Farwell, NE to Louis J. Kyhn and Tena Jacobsen. She was united in marriage to Ralph C. Luebbe on September 27, 1953. She retired after 19 years at GIPS as a custodian. 

Glenrose was a member of the Platt-Deutsche Ladies, the Trinity Lutheran Church, and Ladies Aux. VFW. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, and traveling. 

Survivors include her daughters: Sheri (Mike) Wetzel of Grand Island, NE and Laurie (Ken) Bockbrader of Grand Island, NE; four grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; son, Dennis; and brothers and sisters.
