Helen E. Brady

Hastings resident, Helen E. ( Laycock) Brady, 84, died, Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Perkins Pavilion, GSV. Services will be Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 10:30 AM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with the Rev. David L. Speicher officiating. Burial will be at the Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Friday, March 24, 2006, from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE and one hour prior to service at the chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mrs. Brady was born, February 20, 1922 to Simon and Margaret (Flesher) Laycock in Elm Creek, NE. She moved to Hastings, in 1954. She worked at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital cafeteria. She was a member of the Mary Lanning Auxiliary Pink Ladies for over 25 years and volunteered for over 5000 hours. She is survived by her friends Colleen Shaw, Laurie Jones and Gene and Linda Shaw all of Hastings, NE. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be given to the Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene of Hastings, NE.
