Hastings resident, Helen Frink, 99, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 10 am at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Hastings, NE with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Rosary will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 7 pm at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Hastings, NE. Burial will in St. Patricks Highland Cemetery, rural Adams County. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 12 noon to 4 pm at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Memorials may be given to the St. Patricks Highland Cemetery fund or to the Kensington. Helen was born July 21, 1912 to Glen and Meta (Greener) Criswell in Hastings, NE. She moved to the Chappell area. She married Thomas F. Frink on January 2, 1934 they moved back to Hastings in 1950. She had lived at the Kensington since 2000. She was a longtime faithful Catholic. She was a member of the Highland Extension Club and the H.O.P.E. Sewing Group in Trumbull, NE for over 30 years. Helen had made quilts for all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Glenn Frink and wife Karen of McAllen, TX, John Frink and wife Sandy and Joe Frink and wife Sue, all of Hastings, NE and one daughter, Pat Beiriger and husband Don of Norfolk, NE and son-in-law, Al Beiriger of Hastings, NE, 21 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1992, daughter Mary Beiriger and granddaughter Susan Beiriger.
