Harvard resident, Helen M. Keasling, 95, passed away Sunday June 3, 2012 at Harvard House Assisted Living, Harvard, NE. Services are Thursday June 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Church of Christ, Harvard, NE with Pastor Dave Johnson officiating. Burial is at Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NE. Visitation will be Wednesday noon to 9:00 p.m. with family present 7-9 p.m. at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE. Memorials may be given to the family. Helen was born March 30, 1917, to Edward and Clara (Van Meter) Keller in Harvard, NE. She graduated from Harvard Public Schools in 1934. Helen married Kenneth Keasling on February 24, 1941 in Burbank, CA. They farmed east of Harvard until they moved into Harvard in 1976. Helen was a member of United Church of Christ of Harvard, Glendale Club and the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Andrea of Harvard, Neil and Veronica of Imogene, IA. Daughters and sons-in-law, Renita and Jerry Farrall of Harvard, Pam and Rick Zuck of Dunkerton, IA, Debra and Jim Gerweck of Falls City, NE, Patricia and Orrin C. Krous of Moberly, MO, Kathleen and Ronald Boehler of Hastings, NE, 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grand children. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, parents, brothers John, Cliff and Ralph Keller and sisters Pearl Wilson, Opal Osborne, and Ruby Erickson.
