Glenvil resident, Helena Kemper, 90, of 3830 E. Oregon Trail Rd, died, Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Services will be Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at 2:00 PM at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Glenvil, with Pastor Renee Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the St. Pauls Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery, Glenvil; Visitation will be Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 12 noon till 9 PM and Monday, January 28, 2008 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation, and one hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Helena was born August 16, 1917 to Henry and Angelina (Westerman) Hinrichs in Inland,. She was baptized on October 31, 1917 and confirmed on April 9, 1933 at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Glenvil,. She attended school at District 51, in rural Glenvil; She married Virgil F. Kemper on September 16, 1943, at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Glenvil. He died December 14, 2003. She was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. She was a life long resident of the Glenvil area. She was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Glenvil. She is survived by 1 daughter, Linda K. Montey of Aiea, Hawaii, and 2 sons Roger A. of Mead, Colorado and Gary W. of Glenvil, NE. She was preceded in death by her husband and 3 brothers. Memorials may be given to the familys choice.
