Ida Eileen Kissell

Hastings resident, Ida Eileen Kissell, 87, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Mary Lanning HealthCare, Hastings, NE. Eileen was born January 9, 1926 to Martin and Ida Rose (Gebhard) Richardson in Long Island, KS, the youngest of eight children. She graduated from Long Island High School in 1944. She married Kenneth H. Kissell on May 27, 1944 in Norton, KS. Ken passed away July 10, 2011. Eileen was a homemaker. She is survived by son Gaylord (Ken), Mary Kay, their children and families, Daughter Connie and Randy Nicholson their children and families, Son - Todd and Marlene and their children, sister-in-law Glendoris (Harold) Kissell along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, four brothers, three sisters and step-great grandson. Graveside services will be announced for both Eileen and Ken next year.
