Inez "Lynne" Baade

Inez Baade, 84, of Grand Island and formerly of Prague, NE, died Friday, December 8, 2017, at CHI St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Apfel Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Oberbeck will officiate. Burial will be at a later time. Visitation will start at 11:00 AM on Thursday. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Inez Lynne was born on August 9, 1933, in Pease Township, Ohio to Andrew and Grace (Jones) Gadberry. She grew up in Ohio. Lynne moved to Nebraska in 1959, and worked at the Ordnance Plant, Skagway, and baked pies for Rexall Drug Store. She was united in marriage to Calvin Baade on September 23, 1967. After he died in 1974, she spent 30 years with her soulmate James Meyer until his death in 2004.

Socializing, spending time with friends and family, especially her grandkids, were some of Lynnes favorite activities. Along with enjoying sitting on her front porch when the weather was nice.

Lynne in survived by her children: Jimmy (Judy) Bradley of Ohio, Victoria (John III) Osborne of Kent, OH, Edward (Patricia) Bradley of Rowlett, TX, Sharon Davis of Grand Island, NE, Melissa Burris of Cozad, NE, Angela (Brian) Lindholm of Grand Island, NE; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and sister: Mable Passmore of Glendale, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, sister, and two granddaughters.
